Cutting and Sewing Services
With
over 200 linear feet of 66” wide cutting tables, special fabric multiple-layer
spreading machines and 7” cutting knives, Newark Auto can provide contract
cutting of narrow, wide or heavy products such as carpet, canvas or lighter
materials such as expanded vinyl or reinforced nylon fabrics.
We also have hydraulic die-cutting capabilities for materials that cannot
be cut with a standard vertical straight knife.
Using
Juki heavy-duty sewing machines we can stitch together to specifications, or
bind the edges of materials up to ¼” thick.
We also have long arm and double needle sewing machines for special
applications.
We
have experienced sub contractor/partners for silk screening and embroidery
available if needed.
Newark Auto’s experience in contract work (in addition to its own manufacturing operations) covers many years of serving original equipment auto and truck manufacturers, government agencies, special limited edition custom cars, boats, motorcycles, and numerous non-automotive companies.
